State of the Art Gallery will host its Second Members' Show of the
year in
September, and the work of twenty-five of the gallery'’s members will
be
exhibited. Included will be paintings, drawings, photographs,
prints, sculpture and other three-dimensional work. Those members
not showing work in September will be in our May 2011 Members'
Show.

Our members are also engaged in the following outside activity:<br>

<b>Dan McPheeters, Barbara Mink, and Jay Hart</b> are showing in ‘MARK
Up!’, presenting the work of 17 artists in various media at The
Tompkins
County Public Library in Ithaca, NY through September 24. A
reception and panel discussion will be held Thursday, September 23rd at
6:00 pm in the BorgWarner Community Room.</font> <br>
<br>
<font face="Comic Sans MS"><b>Barbara Mink</b> will be showing several
multi-canvas paintings from September through November at Bandwagon
Brew
Pub, right across from the Commons on North Cayuga Street. The
opening is Tuesday, September 7 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Barbara will
also reprise her show, ‘Event Horizons’ at the Earlville Opera House,
five minutes from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. The show runs
from September 25 through November 6 with an opening Saturday,
September
25 from 5:00-6:30.<br>

<b>Patty L. Porter</b> is exhibiting her work at the Aurora Arts &
Design Center 371 Main Street Aurora, NY through November, 2010 and at
Fibers & Fantasy in the Triphammer Mall in Ithaca, NY until
September
18.<br>

<b>Eva M. Capobianco</b> is launching the “Sad Irony” movement to help
send a message to the White House that it's time to legalize gay
