<p class="mailingstyle">A few years ago, two friends, Sheryl
Sinkow and Diane Newton, both of Ithaca and both members of the State
of the Art Gallery, went to New Mexico together. They each had cameras
and throughout their trip, took many photographs. They thought about
having a show together one day of work that emanated from their road
trip.</p>
<p class="mailingstyle">“From the Road” is that show. Sinkow is
showing photographs and giclee prints on canvas and Newton is showing
drawings in oil pastel. “From the Road” includes more images than those
from the New Mexico trip; there are photographs and drawings from other
trips each artist has made in her travels in the past few years. </p>
